Dual-Listed Arbitrage

Verified100/100
Before deciding whether to install, talk to the skill

Detect price gaps between TASE and US listings of the same dual-listed company (Check Point, NICE, CyberArk, Teva, and 40+ pairs), converting via the Bank of Israel representative rate and flagging gaps above a threshold. Use when the user asks to compare a dual-listed stock's Tel Aviv vs NASDAQ/NYSE price, spot cross-listing arbitrage, or understand a premium/discount between exchanges. Provides per-pair gap %, trading-hours-overlap confidence, and currency-adjusted comparison. Do NOT use for single-market analysis (use tase-stock-analysis).

The Problem

Israeli investors and analysts often hold shares that trade both on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and on a US exchange, but comparing the two prices means juggling agorot, the Bank of Israel representative rate, and two trading calendars that barely overlap. Done by hand it is easy to read a 100x agorot scaling as a real gap, or to compare two closes from different days and mistake an overnight move for a live arbitrage.

When to Apply

  • When you hold or track a dual-listed Israeli company (Check Point, NICE, CyberArk, Teva) and want to compare its Tel Aviv and US price on the same basis
  • When you want to spot a premium or discount between the TASE and US listing of the same share
  • When you need the comparison converted at the Bank of Israel representative rate rather than an intraday quote
  • When you want to know whether a gap is a real cross-listing dislocation or just a non-synchronous, overnight artifact

Try These Prompts

Compare CHKP legs

Compare Check Point on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange against its NASDAQ listing, converted at the Bank of Israel representative rate, and tell me the premium or discount.

Scan for gaps

Scan CHKP, NICE and TEVA for cross-listing price gaps between Tel Aviv and the US, flag anything above 2%, and say whether the legs are synchronous.

Explain a gap

Teva looks cheaper in Tel Aviv than in New York right now. Convert both to shekels at the representative rate and explain whether this is a real gap or a timing artifact.

Dual-listing basics

Explain how a dual-listed Israeli share works, why the ratio is 1:1, and why the Tel Aviv and US prices can differ during the day.

Helps you cut recurring bank and credit-card fees. Use it when you pay per action instead of being on a cheaper fixed-price fee track, when you want to cancel a barely-used credit card, stop a recurring charge or debit authorization, or negotiate a specific commission down. The skill prepares a ready-to-send Hebrew cancellation letter, a rights-grounded negotiation script, and a short summary of your rights, based on Bank of Israel fee rules and Israeli banking law. Why it matters: many Israelis overpay hundreds of shekels a year because they do not know there is a supervised basic track, a right to cancel at any time, and discounts for seniors, people with disabilities, and small businesses. Not for maximizing cashback or deals, coupon hunting, analyzing bank transactions, or household budgeting.

Strategic tax analysis for Israeli company owners (baalei shlita) comparing salary, dividends, shareholder loans, and management fees as profit extraction methods. Calculates total tax burden across methods, identifies optimal strategy based on assessment amount and company structure, and verifies compliance with Israeli Tax Authority rules. Use when you need to pay a personal tax assessment from company funds, compare dividend vs salary, analyze shareholder loan tax implications under Section 3(tet), or plan profit extraction as a controlling shareholder. Prevents costly extraction mistakes by analyzing withholding, Bituach Leumi, surtax, and corporate tax interactions. Do NOT use for VAT reporting (use israeli-vat-reporting), payroll processing (use israeli-payroll-calculator), annual tax return filing (use israeli-tax-returns), or crypto tax (use israeli-crypto-tax-reporter).
