Israeli Consumer Fee Fighter

Before deciding whether to install, talk to the skill

Helps you cut recurring bank and credit-card fees. Use it when you pay per action instead of being on a cheaper fixed-price fee track, when you want to cancel a barely-used credit card, stop a recurring charge or debit authorization, or negotiate a specific commission down. The skill prepares a ready-to-send Hebrew cancellation letter, a rights-grounded negotiation script, and a short summary of your rights, based on Bank of Israel fee rules and Israeli banking law. Why it matters: many Israelis overpay hundreds of shekels a year because they do not know there is a supervised basic track, a right to cancel at any time, and discounts for seniors, people with disabilities, and small businesses. Not for maximizing cashback or deals, coupon hunting, analyzing bank transactions, or household budgeting.

The Problem

Israeli consumers quietly overpay their bank and credit-card companies every month, billed per action instead of on a fixed-price track, paying for a card they barely use, or still charged by a service they thought they cancelled. The law gives them clear levers: two standardized fee tracks, the right to switch, a free one-click bank switch, the right to cancel a card or a recurring debit at any time, and discounts for eligible populations. This skill turns those rights into three deliverables: a cancellation letter, a negotiation script, and a short rights summary.

When to Apply

  • When you pay per action and want to check whether the basic or expanded fixed-price track is cheaper.
  • When you want to cancel a barely-used credit card cleanly without bouncing your recurring charges.
  • When a service keeps charging you after you thought you cancelled and you need to stop the debit and the debt.
  • When you want a rights-grounded script to negotiate a specific fee or commission down.
  • When your bank is expensive across the board and you want to switch banks in one click (niud).
