Codex is OpenAI's official terminal coding agent, powered today by GPT-5.5 and GPT-5.5-Codex-Max with a 400K-token context window. It is similar in spirit to Claude Code but lives in the OpenAI ecosystem. In Israel it is gaining traction especially in organizations already using ChatGPT Plus or Enterprise that want their coding agent from the same vendor. Our Codex skills include Israeli regulatory automation, tax invoices, and Hebrew document generation. Installation uses OpenAI's standard `AGENTS.md` convention: a single file at the project root that is shared with several other agents, so if you switch agents later the skill keeps working there too.

- The npx skills-il add command appends to the existing AGENTS.md if present, or creates a separate skills folder. The modular format is preferred when installing more than one skill.
- Codex loads AGENTS.md automatically each session. Verify it loaded with codex --debug.
