Skills IL is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We strive to meet Israeli Standard 5568 (IS 5568) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, in accordance with the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Act (1998) and its amendments regarding internet accessibility.
Our website includes the following accessibility features: keyboard navigation support throughout the site, screen reader compatibility using semantic HTML and ARIA attributes, a skip-to-content link on every page, full right-to-left (RTL) support for Hebrew with proper language attributes, support for the prefers-reduced-motion setting to disable animations, high-contrast color system with light and dark modes, resizable text that responds to browser font size settings, and clear focus indicators on all interactive elements.
This website is built with accessible component primitives (Radix UI) that provide built-in keyboard navigation, focus management, and screen reader support. We use semantic HTML elements (header, nav, main, footer) and proper heading hierarchy throughout the site.
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations: third-party embedded content (such as GitHub widgets) may not fully meet accessibility standards, and some dynamically loaded content may have brief delays before becoming accessible to assistive technologies. We are continuously working to improve these areas.
If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our website, we want to hear from you. Please contact us through our contact page and include 'Accessibility' in the subject line. Describe the issue you encountered, the page URL, and the assistive technology you are using. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.
This accessibility statement is provided in accordance with the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Act (1998) and the regulations regarding accessibility of internet services (2013). The applicable technical standard is Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
