Hey,
This month a whole batch of new skills landed, all touching the same pain: bureaucracy and rights you're owed but don't always know about. A European passport by family descent, compensation for a cancelled or delayed flight, what to do after a car accident, and how to legally employ a caregiver. Some of them also come with a free calculator that gives you a number on the spot, with nothing to install. And at the end, a bit on why we keep updating the skills and how not to miss it. Let's go.
New skill: European passport by descent
Many Israelis are entitled to a European passport through a grandparent who came from there, and simply don't know it. The skill checks whether you qualify for a passport from Germany, Austria, Poland, Romania, Hungary and more, and builds an application path you can file yourself from Israel: exactly which documents, apostille, and translation each consulate needs. Instead of paying an agency thousands of shekels, you find out if it's within reach and file it yourself.

New skill: compensation for a disrupted flight
A flight to or from Israel that was cancelled, delayed by hours, overbooked, or moved earlier, and you didn't know you're owed money? The skill calculates how much compensation you're entitled to under the Tibi Law and drafts a demand letter ready to send to the airline, without paying a claims company a fee. If the airline refuses, it explains how to go to small-claims court. There's also a free calculator that gives you the amount on the spot.
New skill: what to do after a car accident
Right after an accident it's hard to think straight, and this skill tells you exactly what to document at the scene, which insurance to claim from, and why bodily injury is compensated regardless of fault while vehicle damage depends on who's at fault. It explains the difference between mandatory, comprehensive, and third-party insurance, how to fill in an accident report, the deadlines, and when Karnit steps in if the other driver fled or was uninsured.
New skill: employing a caregiver, and what it costs
Families caring for an elderly parent discover that employing a foreign caregiver is full of details: an employment permit, minimum wage, Bituach Leumi, pension and severance contributions, convalescence pay, and holidays by the caregiver's home country. The skill explains how to do it legally, and how the long-term-care benefit offsets part of the cost. There's also a free calculator that shows what it really comes to per month.
New skill for investors: analyzing a startup deal
And one for angel investors and funds: the skill builds a structured investment memo for an Israeli deal, sanity-checks the metrics (ARR, growth, burn rate), and calculates valuation and dilution. Its strength is the Israeli landmines generic tools miss: Innovation Authority royalty liability and IP-export limits that can block an exit, the Delaware flip, and a Section 102 option plan. It also prepares a due-diligence question list for the founder.
New calculators, a number with nothing to install
The two new flight and caregiver skills also got a free calculator you open right on the site: fill in a few fields and get a number, with no install and no signup. They join the other calculators already on the site (net salary, severance, unemployment, purchase tax, and more), and each one shares to WhatsApp with a single tap.

We keep the skills updated, here's why
Tax brackets, Bituach Leumi amounts, forms, and procedures change all the time, and an Israeli skill is only as good as the info inside it. So we go over the skills and update them again and again. So you don't miss it: tap the heart on the page of a skill that matters to you, and the moment it's updated you'll get a notification with exactly what changed. Everything you saved sits together in your personal list.
And there's a community WhatsApp group
If you'd like to be part of the community, there's an active WhatsApp group where I share new things before anyone else and ask what to build next. It also has a bot that posts a daily and weekly recap, and if you tag it with a question it'll find the right skill from the catalog and answer. No spam, no marketing links.
